World Tournament Series, the first global competition for Guild Wars 2 will be held in Beijing this fall with a big prize at mockery of 150,000 dollars, ArenaNet announced at Gamescom 2014. World Tournament Series is organized with the help of the Chinese Distributor, KongZhong, and participants will be qualified players in Tournament of Glory which will begin on august 20.
ArenaNet will provide more details about the structure of the World Tournament Series and the event in Beijing in the coming weeks and it is known that in order to participate and to travel, players must be over 18 years of age.
ArenaNet has also announced a free Feature Pack will be released in September 9, and will include an upgrade to the way competitve Player vs. Player (PvP) and World vs. World (WvW). More details about the Feature Pack will be offered on the site official of Guild Wars.
In a post on his blog, game directory, from ArenaNet, Colin Johanson, said that the Living World Season 2 will be put on hold until it will be released Feature Pack.
Developer and Twitch were in progress and a PvP called International all-stars Tournament at the booth located in Hall 9 Twitch A053g at Gamescom. ArenaNet broadcast live via streaming all-stars Tournament on the Twitch, Guild Wars 2.
